GRB Ltd
have gained the work permit approval for a Registered
General Nurse since they have been taken off the
shortage occupation list in August 2006.
Since the 14th August 2006 employers were required to go
through the resident labour market test which involves submitting evidence that post
have been advertised, with full details of those who
applied and were interviewed, and why resident nationals
were not considered suitable. Only when the resident
labour test has been satisfied will consideration be
given to issuing a work permit.
We have now
satisfied this test with a few of our clients and
managed to gain work permits for overseas nurses who
wish to work in the UK after their adaptation program
has been completed.
